Long Hole Cylinder Boring Bit with Replaceable Knife
Only for woodturning lathes. Not for use on drilling machines.
Ideal for drilling large and deep holes into solid wood bowls and vases.
Through pre-drilling the wood loses its water content and dries rapidly. That prevents the workpiece from cracking or breaking.
Made up of a body in steel with a steel HSS 18% W replaceable knife, that can be resharpened.

Can be used with additional knives from 40 mm to 65 mm. 55 mm is the
standard diameter to produce the profile that exactly matches the standard jaws
of the chuck (SC3 / SC4 / NovaG3 / Supernova SG2 / Patriot).

Support Rod
The cylinder boring bit features a threaded rod, that is screwed into the tool body
and enables it to discharge the force to the tool rest of the lathe. That results in
the highest efficiency of boring on woodturning lathes.

HSS Knife
The centering groove makes the positioning of the knife easier. Knife is fixed by two clamping screws.
