With high quality sound comparable to more expensive models, the AT-F7 offers exceptional value and performance, which delights those who appreciate the sound quality of analog discs.
The high rigidity VC mold combined with potassium titanate minimizes unnecessary vibrations
The VC structure that holds the coils in place is made of a hard resin, which is combined with potassium titanate for greater strength and rigidity. The result is less weight and an unprecedented reduction in unnecessary vibrations.
Diameter of stainless suspension wire
The AT-F7 uses a stainless suspension wire of 0.07 mm in diameter, which plays an important role as a fulcrum for transferring the audio signal. This stainless steel wire is used for top quality MC type cartridges. This stabilizes the position of the fulcrum and allows auditory lateralization to provide an excellent expression of the high frequency range.
Neodymium magnet for greatly increased magnetic energy
The neodymium magnet provides maximum energy (BHmax of 50 [kJ / m3]), while the pure iron yoke offers excellent magnetic properties. Together, they also boast the concentrated magnetic field in the area of the coil gap.
PCOCC used for coils and terminal pins
PCOCC does not cause crystalline resistance in the transmission direction, allowing the
audiophiles to enjoy broadcasts as well.
Double moving coil with high separation and wide response
Our exclusive moving coil cartridge has a basic structure in which a cylindrical spool is used for the left channel and another for the right channel. This structure by which energy is generated independently for the left and right channels physically offers exceptional separation characteristics. The loss of signals from one channel to another exerts a decisive influence on the stereo extension and the sound quality. This is because this loss is equivalent to creating an irregular cross modulation. The reason why the dual moving coil system offers such clear and precise sound quality is undoubtedly due to the naturally excellent separation of the system. The AT-F7 features a reverse V-shaped formation for the two left and right coils to reduce the vibration mass seen from the tip of the stylus.
Durable construction dedicated to achieving greater rigidity
Using a strong precision aluminum alloy as a base, the body structure is made of hard resin which minimizes the parasitic resonance. This allows greater rigidity and improves the signal-to-noise ratio.
