Grapes: Sangiovese 90%, other red grapes 10%

Soil: diversified, from mixtures of clayey sands and fine sands with marine pliocene sediments.

Planting system: Guyot and Spurred Cordon - 4400 vines per Ha. Average age of vines 20 - 25 years

Production of grapes per hectare: 80 quintals

Microclimate: the microclimatic conditions are made favorable by moderate temperature changes during the year. The proximity of Lake Montepulciano, Chiusi and Lake Trasimeno as well as Monte Aiata positively influence the climate of the territory.

Vinification technique: after a traditional vinification in contact with the skins of 12-15 days it is aged about six months in cask. During this period the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation.

Organlectic characteristics: ruby ​​in color, tending to garnet with the years, it has a vinous aroma with a hint of red berry, a harmonious, slightly tannic, velvety with aging flavor.

Pairing: it goes perfectly with white and red meats, cold cuts and fresh or aged cheeses.

Serving temperature: 18 ° -20 ° C.
