A motet by Friedrich Weissensee, who, together with Vulpius, Praetorius and Demantius was one of the main protestant compose in his time. His music pretty much follows the venetian style of Willaert and Gabrieli.
This motet, singing about Christ's resurrection ("as he told you...") was to be sung starting from the first Sunday after Easter.
